There’s a running joke that once your wedding day is over and the cake has been eaten, all you’ll be left with is happy memories, your photographs and a marriage.
Now it’s fair to say that the memories of your wedding day will fade over time and the marriage part? Well, to quote a common best man’s joke “One of you will gain a kind, beautiful loving partner and the other one of you will gain a nice dress”.
I’m kidding of course, marriage is great but if we’re talking about the wedding day itself and the cure for those post-wedding blues, your photographs really will be the timeless keepsake of your memories and the thing you’re looking forward to receiving.

The laughs, the tears, the joy and most importantly… the emotion that comes attached to those memories.
When you look at your photographs, we want you to look through a window back to the day. Back to those moments that touch your heart and we want you to feel all the emotions that come with looking through that window.
It’s great to have all your photographs in the palm of your hand but then the question is “what do you do with those memories?”
Do you leave them on your phone, your computer or sitting in the cloud somewhere?

I’m going to make a statement that is as true as the sky is blue…

There’s something about seeing your images on the page in front of you and remembering the moment on the wedding day. Even we get goosebumps looking at other people’s images in our sample albums.
Remembering the moments as you look at the page. The feel of the paper on your fingertips as you turn the pages to relive your day.
It’s a feeling like no other.
2. Wedding albums get the senses firing!!
Now just a heads up in advance, this section is going to border on innuendo. I’m going to be talking about touching and feeling your album. It’s just the way it is.
I don’t mean it to but I equally make no apologies for it because what I’m about to say is 100% true.

Touch
I mentioned in the section above about touching an album and feeling your images in your hands. That’s because wedding albums are all about the sense of touch. I always tell my couples that they need to get “hands on” with the albums to fully appreciate them.
When we’re doing an album consultation, I’ll tell my couples to stroke the materials, rub them between their fingertips and brush their fingers along the covers, the wood and the pages.
“Feel the material in your hands” I say.
After all, you’ll likely hold your album while you look through it, so how it feels has EVERYTHING to do with choosing the perfect wedding album.
Sight
Linked closely to how an album feels is how an album looks. After all, we’re each drawn to certain colours and the way that the images present themselves on pages.
For example, an album printed with Velvet pages presents your images with a matte look, whereas an album with Glossy pages will give your images a sheen look.
It’s all preference, but a preference nonetheless.
Smell
I bet you never thought that albums had a smell. Well they do.
You know that new car smell? You also get an album smell. The smell of the paper, the wood and the materials. It’s all part of it.
3. You’ll look at an album more than you think you might
There’s a common misconception, particularly among grooms (blokes are wired differently) that a wedding album will sit in a drawer and not be looked at.
This is absolutely not true. Well, at least not if you order one of our albums.
Let’s consider that part of the reason an album may end up in a drawer is because the album itself isn’t an album worthy of being on display.
If you choose a cheap, underwhelming book then it’s likely you’ll feel that way about your album deep down.
Our albums on the other hand that take pride of place in the home. Their luxury covers and stunning build quality mean they can sit on display in your home alongside an other piece of furniture that you own.
Whether it’s kept on display on a shelf or pride of place on the coffee table, a wedding album should be on hand for those nights when you fancy a glass of wine together to reminisce about the good times.

4. They’re not as expensive as you think they might be.
Now it’s true… wedding albums come in all shapes and sizes. They vary in price from the cheap and affordable to the ridiculously expensive.
You’ll have likely heard rumours of people spending and / or photographers charging thousands of pounds for a wedding album.
Some wedding albums do cost thousands of pounds, but not ours.
Personally, Shazia and I just wouldn’t spend thousands of pounds on a wedding album. It’s just our personal preference, but we just wouldn’t, so why would we expect you to buy something that we wouldn’t buy ourselves? That’s just not our style.
We still don’t want to offer you a cheap album because honestly, why would you want to put your amazing images in a cheap book? It would do the images a disservice and quite honestly, it would do us a disservice too.
Our approach has always been to find a balance between luxury and price. Plus, find something that we actually like ourselves. We’ve always found that if we like something, our clients like it too.
That’s why we offer the albums that we do. They are high quality albums with a luxury feel at a reasonable price.
When I say reasonable pricing, with us I mean “hundreds of pounds, not thousands of pounds”.
