Wedding albums are a great way of preserving your wedding day memories but what exactly do our wedding albums look like? What would you get for your money if you were to order one?
There are so many options available so to help give you an idea of what to expect, we’ve produced a short, fun video which shows exactly how our wedding albums are created from start to finish.
It will give you a glimpse into the manufacturing process and show you the time, expertise and care that goes into building the perfect album.
I love “making of” and “behind-the-scenes” videos, especially when I have a genuine interest in the subject so producing this video was fun for me.
Now I don’t expect you to be sat there thinking “Wow, an album manufacturing the video. The thing I’ve been missing all my life!” but, seeing how the albums are designed and assembled is interesting stuff.
Wedding albums come in all shapes and sizes so it’s often hard to know what you can expect to receive in the end. This is why we decided to create this video.
It’s important to us that our clients have a full understanding of what their options are when it comes to ordering a wedding album.
Over the years, so many of our couples have ordered an album after their wedding, but unless you can see the options for yourself, in person, it’s hard to know what to expect.
That’s why the process of ordering an album begins by coming into our studio for an album consultation after your wedding. We’ll show you all the options and you can use our Ultimate Wedding Album Sample Box to pick the perfect album for you.
Our sample box contains various different materials so you can choose details like colour and the way your album cover is personalised.
After your consultation, we get to work on designing your album. We work with you using your chosen set of images and once you’re happy, we send your design off to the lab.
Once at the lab, your images are then printed onto the pages using the album printing machines. From there, they are trimmed and bound together.
The next step to for the team of experts to assemble your album cover. The cover is carefully pieced together and trimmed to the exact sizing. I just love how much care and attention to detail they pay.
Next up is the personalisation for the cover. There’s a few options (which we run you through) which include pressing and laser engraving.
The final step is to bind the printed pages and the cover together. Just like the other steps in the process, this is completed with time and great care. Once the album is bound together, it’s left to set for 24 hours.
It’s an over simplification… but that’s it!
