Step 01
Before Your Maternity Photoshoot
It’s best to pre-book your session well in advance to secure your spot with our maternity photographer in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We recommend scheduling your maternity shoot around 34-35 weeks of pregnancy to capture the best moments.
- Pre-book early: Contact us as soon as you feel comfortable, ideally around 16-20 weeks.
- Consultation: Once booked, we’ll arrange a video consultation to discuss your vision and preferences, ensuring we capture the moments you will treasure forever.
- Deposit: We only take a £50 deposit to secure your session in our diary. This is the only payment your make until you see your images at your viewing appointment.
- Pre-Arranged Date: We can your maternity photoshoot in the diary ahead of time.
- Deposit Deducted: Your deposit is later deducted from your chosen package (see below).
Your Maternity Photography Session
Step 02
All maternity photoshoots take place at our Newcastle Upon Tyne studio, designed to provide a fun, cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
- Ideal timing: We find that 34-35 weeks is the best time for a maternity session.
- Session length: Sessions typically last 1-2 hours, allowing us to capture a variety of poses and looks, similar to our newborn sessions and newborn photoshoots.
- Family inclusion: Feel free to bring your partner, other children and/or pets for family photographs, creating a complete portrait of your growing family.
- Use of our wardrobe: We have several clothing options which you can make sure of complimentary.
Step 03
After Your Maternity Photoshoot – Viewing Your Images
Your viewing experience is when you return to our studio to see your beautiful images and select your favourites to turn into stunning wall art.
- Flexible selection: We offer two package options for maternity session (see below).
- Personalized service: We will guide you through the selection process to ensure you are happy with your choices.
