Chris and Shazia

When Sam first got in touch to enquire about booking us to photograph her wedding, we decided to meet up for a chat so we grabbed a coffee in Durham.

It was the first time we’d all met properly but we all got on like we’d known each other for years and we knew we were all a good match. Sam and James has picked Roundthorne Country House near Penrith as their venue.

They spent a lot of time in the lakes so it only seemed fitting for them to get married there. After a short drive over on the morning of the wedding, it was time for Chris and Shazia to begin capturing this beautiful day.

The lads were nice and calm when Chris arrived to photograph them getting ready.
It was more of the same with Sam and the girls. Nice and chilled. It gave Shazia chance to capture some stunning images of same. Lovely and relaxing.
James was over the moon as Sam made her way down the isle. The ceremony was filled with lots of laughs too and after all the formalities were over, we organised all the guests for a confetti shot outside.
After a number of group/family photographs, we nipped down the bottom of the garden for 10 minutes to capture some lovely couple portraits of Sam and James together.
The speeches were very eventful, with the guests having a great time listening to the speakers.
After the meal, we had a little drive down the road and found some amazing, scenic views of the lake district. It made the perfect spot of some couple portraits.
Upon our return, we found guests relaxing in the garden area making the most of the lovely weather. Before long, it was time for the evening to get underway.
