The details

The happy couple:

Hannah and Dominic

The date:

29th July 2017

The location:

Hoults Yard, Newcastle Upon Tyne

When Hannah got in touch and told us she was getting married in the Clayshed at Hoults Yard, it was a match made in heaven.

With our studio being based at Hoults Yard and us being very fond of the Clayshed, we’d been waiting for a willing bride and groom with vision to get in touch. Hannah and Dom were the perfect couple.

Their plan was to have a big party. They had hired the warehouse as a blank canvas and planned to decorate it themselves. With a urban backdrop, rustic additions and a laid back day, we couldn’t wait to photograph this wedding.

A lovely relaxed morning on the quayside in Newcastle.
With guests seated and ready, Hannah arrives at Hoults Yard. Dom sheds a tear as Hannah walks down the isle.
Once the ceremony is complete, everyone heads outside.
A handful of group photographs outside is followed by plenty of time to relax at the bar.
The Clayshed at Hoults is such a cool setting, and the speeches were just as awesome, with the bridesmaid even rehearsing their own rendition of Smelly Cat.
After the wedding breakfast, Shazia took Hannah and Dom down to the Quayside through Ouseburn Valley.
Shazia, Hannah and Dom made it back just in time for the fish and chips, provided by non other than the awesome little fishy.
The last formality of the night was the first dance, followed the the cutting of the donut tower.
