Rob and Craig were recommended to us by two of our previous brides. They were very happy with the recommendations, so came in to see Chris at the studio. After chatting through everything and looking through our photographs, they decided we were the photographers for them.

They’d chosen As You Like It in Newcastle Upon Tyne as their venue. We’ve photographed there many times before and it’s a really cool venue that suits our style perfectly.

They were both getting ready at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead. They wanted to headed out a little earlier so they could have their couple portraits taken before they arrived at the venue. That way, they didn’t have to leave their guests.

Where the wedding name came from:

The name was chosen because before they headed over to the venue, Rob and Craig wanted to go for a coffee at Cafe Royale in Newcastle. This was where they went to on their first days many years ago.

We began the day with Craig and Rob getting ready together at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead.
It's a fantastic view of the Tyne Bridge from the balcony, so we headed outside for a few photographs before heading into town.
Over at Cafe Royale, we ordered some coffees and the cafe kindly gave Rob and Craig some champagne as a surprise.
After this, we headed down into Ouseburn for some more couple portraits. It's a fantastic location, filled with a large variety of backdrops for photographs.
At the venue, guests were waiting patiently for our grooms to arrive.
It was a lovely ceremony and guests threw everything they had behind a fantastic confetti shot as they exited.
Upstairs, drinks and canapés waited guests, so we left them to enjoy themselves for a while before organising a big group photograph off the balcony.
Guests enjoyed themselves out on the terrace, having some laughs and catching up with friends and family.
Before we knew it, it was time for speeches and as you can see, they went down a storm.
After the meal, guests enjoyed themselves on the downstairs terrace, making the most of the nice weather.
The great thing about As You Like It is that it always has a party atmosphere and the time had come to cut the cake.
After the first dance, guests piled onto the dance floor and immediately got into the mood, partying with our newlyweds
