Adam’s not the beast we promise!! He’s awesome. They both are.

Adam and Natalie found us on Instagram. They’d been following us for a while and after confirming their plans and officially booking their date, they contacted us about photographing their big day.

They chose The Vermont Hotel in Newcastle Upon Tyne as their venue. It’s an impressive venue situated next to the Tyne bridge and located in the heart of the city.

Natalie was getting ready down at the Vermont Aparthotel on the Quayside. The plan was to head to a nearby church for the ceremony, before heading back to the Vermont for the reception.

Where the wedding name came from:

The name was chosen because of the Beauty and the Beast details that the couple had integrated into their day. Nothing to do with the groom, we promise.

So began the day with Natalie and the girls. We were in love with their dressing gowns. They just looked incredible!
As was time for some gifts, which never fails to bring out a few tears.
Natalie's sister helped her get into her dress and as you can see, she looked stunning.
Downstairs, we managed to capture some beautiful images of Natalie and her dad waiting for the car to arrive. The light from the window was beautiful.
At the church, Adam was waiting patiently and as soon as Natalie arrived, we started the ceremony.
Churches can sometimes be difficult places for photographers but the vicar was fantastic and we managed to capture some great images.
Outside we organised everyone into a line for a confetti tunnel before letting everyone go crazy.
Back at the Vermont, the party was well underway. Canapés were flowing and guests were enjoying the sunshine up on the Sky Terrace.
Inside, we spent some time photographing the breakfast room. We loved the beauty and the beast table decorations. Nothing beats a bit of classic Disney.
As the afternoon progressed, guests started to make their way downstairs ready for the speeches.
Speeches got underway and as you can see, it was a packed house.
All three speakers did a great job and guests were thoroughly entertained before tucking into their wedding breakfast.
Post meal, we headed out onto the high level bridge for some couple portraits.
It was perfect timing as the sun was setting and the light was incredible.
Once we arrived back at the Vermont, we headed back up onto the Sky Terrace to make the most of the incredible view.
Inside guests were enjoying themselves and before we knew it, it was time for the first dance.
We always love it when guests pile onto the dance floor to join the newlyweds. It really gets the evening vibe going and makes for some fantastic images.
