Horton Grange Hotel, Northumberland

Amy and Adam originally contacted us after being recommended while honeymoon shopping at Kuoni travel in the Metrocentre. We’ve used Kuoni for several holidays in the past, so when Amy and Adam mentioned they were looking for a wedding photographer, the girls at Kuoni kindly recommended us.

They chose Horton Grange for the wedding day. We’d photographed there several times before and it’s always a great venue to photograph. It’s bright and has lots of space inside and out for photographs.

Amy wasn’t fussed about having too many photographs of her getting ready, so we started at the venue once Adam arrived with his car…

We started the day at Horton Grange, just as Adam arrived for a few photographs with his best man in the car.
Amy said that she didn't want hair and makeup capturing, so we simply focussed on capturing Amy in her amazing dress.
It was an emotional moment as Amy made her way down the isle, following by plenty of laughter during the ceremony.
After the ceremony, the guests headed outside for a big group photograph together, followed by a confetti tunnel.
While giving guests time to mingle and relax, we took the newlyweds out for a few couple photographs before they headed in for their speeches.
Everyone was on top form for the speeches, with guests thoroughly entertained throughout.
After the wedding breakfast, we took Adam and Amy our for another twenty minutes or so for some more couple photographs.
After some photographs in the abandoned barn, we headed around the venue and managed to get a cracking shot of Amy's veil.
Back inside, guests were well into the swing of things. Drinks were flowing and everyone had no problem finding the sweetie table.
There were still a couple of formalities left for the evening as Adam led Amy onto the dance floor to cut their cake and kick the evening off with their first dance together as husband and wife.
