Ashleigh and Liam were the third of our couples who had been booked in with us for a while and made the decision to still go ahead with the COVID restrictions. To be fair, they were always planning on having a smaller day anyway, but like the other weddings we’ve photographed around this time, they just wanted to get married.

They had chosen The Parlour at Blagdon for their big day. They were also HUGE alpaca fans so we’d been given the heads up that the alpacas would play a part in their day.

They were such a fun couple and we couldn’t wait to get started.

(Please note, we haven’t post many photographs online of guests mingling and chatting, simply to avoid any potential issues related to social distancing).

Where the wedding name came from:

The name was chosen because of the alpacas they had on their wedding day.

We began the day at Barnacre Alpacas where Ashleigh was getting ready with her family.
It's common place by now to see everyone wearing masks and this day was no different. Gotta keep everyone safe.
Canny Campers had arrived to take Ashleigh over to the venue in their beautiful camper van.
At the venue, Liam was ready and waiting. The room was laid out beautifully and everyone was eager to get started.
Ray's Piano provided guests with the musical entertainment throughout the ceremony and the wedding breakfast.
They had done a fantastic job of decorating the room and the cake table was something else!!
It was Alpaca time!! Ashleigh and Liam's dream was to have the alpacas there on their wedding day and it was lovely to see them there. So cute!!
After a brief trip over to Northumberlandia, it was back to the venue for some speeches.
It was Ashleigh's dad who had the honour of going first.
As you can see from the photographs, the guests were thoroughly enjoying the entertainment.
The best man had the final laughs before the food was served.
After the meal, it was time for the fabulous Chris Cross to provide his magic skills.
He had the guests in stitches throughout. A truly fabulous entertainer.
The night wasn't over yet though, as Ashleigh and Liam took to the dancefloor for the first time as husband and wife.
