While we all hope that we’ll have some nice weather on our wedding day, sometimes it can go a bit too far. So how do you imagine Beth and Mitch felt getting married on the hottest day of the year?

They’d chosen an outdoor wedding near Newcastle. The plan was to get married in the woods and then their reception would take place in a tipi/marquee in a field. Believe me when I say this is the stuff of instagram and pinterest wedding dreams.

Where the wedding name came from:

The name was chosen because during the meal, Beth’s brother was bouncing his nephew up and down on his knee, unaware that the little one had just been fed. The bairn proceeded to vomit all over his uncle.

With everything taking place in the one location, Chris began the day with the boys...
... while Shazia was with Beth and the girls.
Going along with their theme for the wedding, Beth really did look the part.
With the weather absolutely scorching hot, their dream ceremony in the woods went ahead without a hitch.
It really was the most fantastic setting in the woods. The decor, everything was perfect.
After we'd set up a confetti tunnel, we took the newlyweds back into the woods for some photographs before the decor from the ceremony was later moved.
While guests were busy relaxing and enjoying themselves, the caterers were busy prepping the food ready for the BBQ.
After the vomit was cleaned up, the speeches commenced, although we're pretty sure Beth's brother will remember that moment forever.
After the meal it was time for some more couple portraits. With the sun being a little lower, we managed to capture some truly amazing images with such variety.
It was cake cutting and dancing time!!
You can see in the images just how informal and relaxed their day really was.
We had one last creative idea up our collective sleeve. We dragged the sofa across the field and captured some lovely couple portraits... complete with their little pooch.
