Amy and Stella had a very unique idea for their wedding. They wanted an awesome day, but equally they wanted something that was in sync with their cool vibe.

They chose to have their ceremony at Whalton Manor in Morpeth, with their evening reception at St Mary’s Heritage Centre in Newcastle.

We couldn’t wait for this one…

We began with Shazia photographing Amy having her and and makeup done in Newcastle...
... while Chris was at the Hilton in Gateshead capturing Stella with her girls.
After a little visit from nanna, it was time for guests to hop on the bus to head up to Whalton Manor.
Meanwhile, Amy and her dad were leaving their house to travel up in an awesome landrover.
Our first important must-have moment was Amy having a drink with her dad outside the venue.
As you can see, Stella's patience was finally rewarded and she was overcome with emotion as Amy made her way down the isle.
Amy and Stella had thought of everything, and with a couple of hours to wait before heading south, they brought in a free bar and a bouncy castle to entertain guests.
It was so chilled and relaxed. Guests drank pimms and made the most of the sunshine.
The venue was filled with cool, little features such as a huge greenhouse and a disused stables.
After making our way back down the A1, we organised a confetti shot for their arrival before heading out for some couple portraits.
We made the most of the local area, including the huge graffiti walls and the container village on the quayside.
There was still so much of the day left and in between the first dance and the Ceilidh, Hadrian's pizzas provided the guests with some much needed balance which, after a day of open bar was absolutely needed to keep the party going late into the night.
