We originally met Chris and Claire at the 2017 Metro Radio Arena wedding fair where we had a really conversation with them and just clicked instantly. After meeting up again at the studio, they were super happy to book with us.

They chose the Baltic – The Centre for Contemporary Art as their venue. It’s not a venue that we get to do very often but we LOVE it there. It’s so cool and there’s tonnes of backdrops for photograph opportunities.

They had such cool, geeky interests like us so we couldn’t wait to see what they did with their day…

Chris and Claire didn't want photographs of them getting ready, so we started the day at the Pitcher and Piano capturing guests arriving.
Claire arrived shortly afterwards and headed to The Broad Chare a quick drink.
This gave us time to capture some images with the girls before heading over to the Baltic.
Chris was eagerly waiting as Claire made her the isle.
After a big group photograph, the newlyweds had a mess about downstairs while guests enjoyed some canapés.
As you can see, their geeky personalities really came out with some truly unique details for the day.
The speeches were hilarious and gave guests plenty of laughs before their afternoon tea.
Chris and Claire asked for half an hour to themselves after food to head out for some more couple portraits to make the most of the cool surroundings.
They were both so fantastic in front of camera and we even had time to stop off for a quick drink at Tyne Bar.
Back at the Baltic, guests were ready as our bride and groom enjoyed their first dance to some really cool music provided by an awesome DJ.
