Charlotte and Scott originally found us via Facebook. They’d had a look through everything, loved our work and after chatting felt like we’d be a great fit for them. We had very similar interests but equally importantly… they were very fun and down to earth like us too.

They had chosen the Black Horse Beamish for their big day. They had always planned on having a small-ish wedding, so when the COVID-19 restrictions meant they had to drop down to 15 guests, they decided they were happy to still go ahead.

They’re such a good couple with amazing banter and we couldn’t wait to be part of their big day.

(Please note, we haven’t post many photographs online of guests mingling and chatting, simply to avoid any potential issues related to social distancing).

Where the wedding name came from:

The name was chosen because of the amazing pork pie cake they had for their wedding cake.

We began the day with Charlotte and the girls. They were getting ready in the cottage at the venue.
Charlotte was nursing a cheeky hangover when we arrived, but she soon perked up as it was time for hair and makeup.
We loved that Charlotte was rocking the denim jacket. It absolutely worked with her dress and she looked incredible.
Everything was almost complete and once Charlotte was in her dress it was time to head up to the venue.
Scott was patiently waiting and you can see how happy they both are together.
After the ceremony was over, guests had a bit of time to relax. With the rain being on/off all day, we took the chance to grab the newlyweds for some photographs.
Don't they look amazing together?!
You can see how relax they both were in front of camera, laughing away and really enjoying things.
Back inside it was time for the speeches. Charlotte's dad was up first.
The room felt very full, even with the smaller numbers. There was such a warmth to the day and everyone was having such a good time.
They opted not to have a first dance, so the only formability was to cut the Pork Pie cake. Just look at that little beauty!!
