Every now and again, you just click with a couple. The kind of instant click like you’ve been friends for years. This is how it was with Philip and Callum.

They got in touch back in the summer of 2018 and because we were so busy at the time, we invited them to join us on our “date night” for tapas in Newcastle. We all ate, laughed, drank sangria and they booked there and then that night.

After a fun pre-wedding shoot with them in Durham where we hired a boat and made our way around the river (after which we had tapas again), their wedding day was finally here and we couldn’t have been more excited.

Where the wedding name came from:

The name was chosen because well, we first met and enjoyed each other’s company over tapas and then followed it up with more tapas at the pre-wedding shoot. We now just need a post-wedding tapas to complete the trilogy.

Chris began the day with Phil and her groomsmaids at their home.
There were some really touch moments. A big group hug on the patio and the moment that Phil read a letter he'd been given from Callum.
Over at Slaley Hall, Shazia was with Callum and the gang.
As the gents put their finishing touches in place, guests were starting to arrive at Healey Barn ready for the ceremony.
It was an emotional one, with Phil and Callum both prone to a little crying here and there.
We'll take happy tears all day long and we'll also take happy faces which is why we headed outside for a post-ceremony confetti tunnel.
After a big group photograph it was time for guests to mingle and enjoy some canapes.
Before the wedding breakfast, we took the newlyweds out for a quick stroll together.
The pink smoke grenade really looked incredible on camera and made for a nice variation in the couple portraits.
The speeches had everyone in tears, both emotionally and in hysterics.
It was time for more photographs after the meal, so we played around with some more smoke grenades. How great do they look?!
We made the most of the gorgeous sunset too, taking Phil and Callum for a stoll in the meadow.
Guests were busy enjoying the photobooth, especially nanna who was having a great time!
All that was left was for Philip and Callum to have their first dance as Mr and Mr before guests joined them on the dancefloor.
