Donna and Scott found us through Facebook. They came across our page, had a look through our website and got in touch. After meeting for a chat they felt we would be a perfect fit for their big day.

They were getting married at the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle Upon Tyne. It’s a cool little venue situated in the heart of Newcastle. It had been a few years since we were last there to photograph a wedding so we couldn’t wait to get back there.

Chris started the day down at the Malmaison on the quayside where both Donna and Scott were getting ready.

Where the wedding name came from:

The name was chosen because of the really cool neon sign that Donna and Scott has situated on the dancefloor. We managed to superimposed this neon into some of their other images creating some really cool double exposure images.

At the Mal, Donna was getting ready in one of the upstairs suites.
Everyone was enjoying being pampered as the hair and makeup team worked their magic.
Downstairs, Scott and the lads were getting ready with the help of their little boy.
After Donna had slipped into her dress, it was time for her dad to pop his head in and see her looking amazing.
As Donna and her father arrived at the venue, her little boy and her bridesmaids were eagerly waiting inside.
Upstairs in the art gallery, Scott was waiting very patiently and his face lit up with a smile as Donna made her way down the aisle.
Outside, we were a little short on space but managed to squeeze everyone in for a confetti tunnel.
After we'd captured a big group photograph, the day light was slowly disappearing, so we grabbed our newlyweds and headed off for some couple portraits.
Ouseburn is such a cool area. So much colour and so many textures. Throw a lovely couple in the mix and you've got magic.
Back in the gallery, guests were catching up but it wasn't long until everyone was called downstairs for the speeches.
After a grand entrance from our bride and groom, it was time for the speeches to commence.
The day quickly progressed and after the meal the evening part of the day began.
The talented Barrie James was on hand to lend his talents.
As you can see by the photographs, the guests were thoroughly entertained
After a few more drinks, Donna was very much ready and it was time to get the party started with the first dance.
Guests poured on the dancefloor to join our newlyweds and we left them in fantastic spirits to cap off an incredible day.
