When Dan and Emily decided to get married they knew they wanted to do it low key. In fact, they only booked us a few weeks before their date and we jumped at the chance to be involved. The civic centre in Newcastle is a grade two listed building and a time capsule to the sixties with a lot of the rooms keeping in style with that mid century aesthetic that we love.

Shazia arrived outside the centre not long before the ceremony time to document everyones arrivals before heading inside to capture the very intimate ceremony and a few portraits at a few of her favourite spots inside.

Then we moved on to group shots with everyone before they headed off to set up a BBQ back at the couples home for an amazing laid back reception.

Once everyone left Shazia then took the couple to some key spots around the city that had meaning to them, capturing some portraits on the way.

Where the wedding name came from:

We had been wanting to use a carpark for couple photographs for a while and we were really happy we got the chance to here.
