We first met Laura at the Ellingham Hall’s open day back in 2018. We are recommended supplier there and as luck would have it, Laura was visiting too. We got chatting and Laura booked there and then on the spot.

Laura and Pete lived in the North West but decided that Ellingham Hall was the place they wanted to have their big day. All their guests were travelling from all over the world, so everyone was making the journey to Northumberland. After meeting with Laura initially, we met Pete a few months later at the next Ellingham open day which gave us chance to have a catch up.

They had really filled out their day. Not just with little details and touches but they’d thought of everything for their guests. They just wanted everyone to have a good time and enjoy the party.

Let’s see if it lived up to the expectation…

Where the wedding name came from:

The name was chosen after the design on the rear of Laura’s leather jacket.

Laura and Pete had added plenty of little touches to their day, including some influences from Harry Potter.
We loved Laura's dress, but were huge fans of her custom leather jacket and awesome bridal hat.
Laura was clearly excited as she started to get dressed.
Her bridal party were in great spirits on the morning and they all looked incredible as they prepared to head downstairs.
Downstairs guests were starting to arrive as they stopped for some photographs before heading to the church which was a short walk away.
Pete was waiting patiently at the bottom of the aisle as Laura made her way up the path with her mum.
A lovely, relaxed ceremony concluded with a confetti tunnel outside before guests made their way back up to Ellingham Hall.
Drinks and canapés were aplenty as guests mingled and had a good old catch up.
Laura's good friend sang for a while to keep all the guests entertained.
Before the wedding breakfast, we headed out for 10 minutes to grab a few portraits of Pete and Laura together, whilst also giving them some time just for the two of them.
Inside guests were waiting patiently as the newlyweds were announced into the breakfast room.
Some amazing speeches followed which had guests laughing throughout.
Post meal, there was more time for relaxing. As you can see, guests had had plenty to drink and we quite happy when they saw the camera.
We had some more time for some portraits, including some beautiful shots by the round window and we also took Laura downstairs for a cool mini shoot in the basement.
Inside it was time for the cake cut. Guests were will into the party mood which set the tone for the whole evening.
Laura and Pete enjoyed their first together before eager guests poured onto the dance floor to join them.
We've never seen a crowd quite like this group of guests. Every single one of them was there to party and it really shows in the photographs.
This was such an amazing wedding that showed no signs of letting up throughout the day. Absolutely incredible from start to finish.
