When it comes to photographing weddings, one of the many positives of consistently doing such a great job is that several wedding venues in the North East of England like to recommend us to their prospective couples and in turn, put our name on an exclusive list as a recommended supplier.

For those of you out there who like your weddings to be very real, unique and different then look no further than the Barn on the Bay up near Morpeth. It take a certain kind of couple to book this venue. It’s the gateway to a completely unique wedding.
You have a few options for a ceremony space including inside an old cow barn, in the sand dunes by the sea or in a sheep paddock
You’ve got a beach across the road and if that’s not enough, you’ll be staying in glamping pods on site.
Not traditional in any way and completely amazing. One for the adventurers among you.

The barn is an 18th century stone barn located near Riding Mill in Northumberland. This venue is suited for couples who want an informal and fun day fulled with laughter and good food. Honestly, their Canapés are amazing and worth booking for that reason alone!
One of Newcastle Upon Tynes newest wedding venues! Located in Hoults Yard this working brewery is ideal for non-conventional couples who love that industrial look. Full Circle Brew Coʼs venue boasts a large glass fronted Tap Room with a view of their operational brewery. That room then becomes your space for dinner, drinks and dancing.
There are so many great locations a stones throw away from the venue and plenty of variety for couple photographs and they have samazing options for more relaxed street food style wedding food. (We’re big fans of the burgers from 2Knives Kitchen!)
Let us make it clear… we love the Baltic. We’re not just saying that because they’re recommending us. It’s been Chris’ favourite venue since August 2014 when we first photographed there. It visually pleasing to look at, so many options for photographs and it’s so bright with all the natural light coming into the venue. All the boxes are ticked for us.

For those of you unfamiliar with Ellingham Hall, it’s a beautiful venue, bursting with elegance and character. Boasting sumptuous rooms and exquisite grounds, it is simply the most magical destination for weddings and celebrations in Northumberland.
Offering exclusive use so that your event belongs only to you, the Hall is a perfect example of old world charm interwoven with modern day luxury. With eighteen enchanting bedrooms and seven spacious stone cottages, there’s room for your guests to enjoy a comfortable and luxurious overnight stay should they wish.
We love it there. The grounds are amazing and if you’re getting married in the summer and have the weather on your side, you may even be able to have your ceremony outdoors.
Alnwick Gardens and Treehouse is one of the most beautiful venues in the Northumberland. It’s cool, it’s relaxed and it’s perfectly suited to our style. There’s are two different venues here. You’ve got the Gardens where wedding generally take place in the pavilion and you’ve also got the treehouse itself where you can get married too. Both make for truly unique settings and they are absolutely perfect.
You’ve got Alnwick centre close by so it makes it nice and easy from an accommodation/logistics point of view. It’s just great and we love it there.
The Biscuit Factory is such a cool venue. Located near to Newcastle city centre and just north of Ouseburn Valley, the venue contains an art gallery as well as a lovely function room.
With so many awesome settings surrounding the venue (such as cool graffiti walls, lots of brickwork etc) you also got lots of cool places to take photographs both inside and outside of the venue.
Vallum Farm is a beautiful little venue located just 8 miles outside of Newcastle Upon Tyne. A family business at heart, when you choose Vallum Farm, you are choosing great quality and abundant food for your guests. Vallum is all about traditional Northumbrian hospitality.
